General Description:
The SUNSET SKY 7
is designed to bring the warm and magical sound of a classical nylon string guitar to the big stage in a completely new way. It does this in three ways. Not only does this revolutionary guitar offer an increased top range – which comes naturally with being a Sky Guitar – but it also comes with a powerful inbuilt effects section, which consists of a delay and a high fidelity looper, which can record and play back or layer takes of up to 10 minutes of your playing one to one.
This is more than just a very nice toy. It opens up endless new creative possibilities.
The very effective on-board delay is easy to dial in and gives unprecedented artistic control over the ambience. Having a high quality delay like that built into the guitar makes a huge difference in real terms, because every onstage environment is different – many are too dry, in fact, and having this effect at your fingertips can be a life saver on some stages, where it is almost impossible to generate a nice and pleasant sound.
The overall tonal quality of the guitar is stunning, particularly once it is amplified. This is the purpose it was built for – to take artistic command of the stage and to achieve a high quality tone at the same time without having to battle the feedback problems which plague microphones and conventional piezo systems in acoustic hollow body guitars.
Conventional systems have always been prone to massive feedback problems, particularly in band environments where the individual player has much less control over the required volume. SUNSET ELITE Sky Guitars are designed to put an end to that once and for all.
Being a Sky Guitar, the SUNSET ELITE 7 naturally offers a greater range of notes than traditional guitars. In the case of the 7 String – which is an additional bass string – this opens up a whole new range of chordal and harmonic possibilities.
